Our staff sets White Pine apart. They are mature, nurturing and committed to providing every camper with the most incredible experience possible. Many of our staff return year after year and are adored by the campers.
“My summers at White Pine have truly been the happiest of my life. I have made more friendships than I can count—both as a camper with my cabin and counsellors, and now as a staff with my co-staff and campers. I have been able to do things that push me outside of my comfort zone, like going on a 12 day canoe trip or performing a break for a special program in front of the whole camp. During my summers as a counsellor, I’ve been able to make an impact in so many camper’s summers, encouraging them to try new activities and watching them succeed. I count the days each year until I can return to my home away from home!”
PRE-WEE AND KIWI PROGRAMS
Ages 6-9
First-time campers immediately feel the spirit when they arrive at camp. Warm, nurturing counsellors welcome them with open arms. From the moment they step into their cabin, everyone is included as part of the cabin group. Friendships are formed that often last a lifetime.
