Adventure Sports

There’s nothing quite like an outdoor adventure in the summer, and at White Pine campers have no shortage of activities from which they can choose. Campers of all ages and skill levels can zipline through the trees at ropes, build a roaring fire up at outdoor recreation, ride our muddy trails at bikes, or let arrows fly at archery.

ROPES COURSE

Whether it’s jumping from the 45-foot high “Pamper-Pole,” balancing on the “Incomplete Bridge,” or racing each other down our 260-foot dual Zip Lines, campers of all ages love this activity. Our elaborate ropes course features over twenty high and low elements that help campers develop self-confidence and build important group skills. Our professional ropes staff offer support and encouragement while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

ROCK CLIMBING

Make your way up our thirty-foot climbing wall in the forest as our climbing pros cheer you on. For the more experienced climber, there are ample opportunities for out-of-camp trips where our staff take campers on exciting expeditions to challenging rock faces and amazing rock climbing gyms.

CANOE TRIPPING

Unforgettable friendships are forged while exploring the rivers and lakes in the spectacular wilderness of northern Ontario’s provincial parks each summer. During the day, our trip staff help guide campers as they paddle and portage to their campsite, learning to work together to succeed. At night, everyone sings songs, cooks over an open fire, and watches as the sun slips below the horizon. On canoe trips, campers gain a true appreciation of our natural world, and the need to preserve it through the philosophy of “no trace” camping.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Summer is the perfect time to strap your helmet on, hit the trails, and get your heart pumping! Our biking program has something for everyone, from quiet wooded trails around our private lake to adventurous circuits on our out-of-camp day trips.

OUTDOOR REC

Our Outdoor Rec program is equal parts adventure and education. Campers can hike around our 1,600-acre property, exploring the riches of the forest and discovering secret animal habitats, camouflage themselves in the forest during a thrilling game of capture the flag, or learn how to build a shelter with only branches and leaves.

ARCHERY

There’s nothing quite like hitting your first bullseye or popping a ballon with a bow and arrow. Under the careful supervision of our staff, campers can compete against one another and learn the mechanics of this classic camp activity.
