A message from Adam and Dana

We know that the choice of a summer camp is an important one. As Directors, we feel privileged to spend our summers with the dynamic, positive and supportive group of people, both campers and staff, who join us each summer at camp. Together we create an atmosphere that is built on our core values of kindness, respect, acceptance and growth.

Our love for White Pine is reflected in the high standards we hold in all aspects of camp life. Most importantly, we value each individual and their right to a safe and enjoyable experience where they are appreciated for who they are. We hope that Camp White Pine becomes a part of your child’s life for many years to come.

“I am so lucky to be able to spend my summers at White Pine. When I am at camp there is never a moment where I am not truly happy. After being a camper for 9 years and my first summer as a staff, I have made countless friendships and memories that will stay with me forever. Camp has helped me overcome my fear of heights and has challenged me to try so many new things.  CWP really has shaped me into the person that I am today. I countdown the days every year until I can finally return to my home away from home!”

“I will always remember when I was younger counting down the days with my friends until the first day of camp. Now that we are all staff members, not much has changed. We wait with excitement to go to Camp White Pine because it is always the best two months of the year. I cannot describe how lucky I feel to have spent so many summers at such a special place. Camp has taught me many skills such as leadership, approachability and independence and the friends I made at camp 10 years ago remain my best friends today. As a counsellor I try my best to emulate the amazing staff members I had growing up and ensure every camper loves camp just as much as I did! I have loved every second of my 11 years at camp and I cannot wait for summer number 12 this year!”

Carson Crestohl

“Going to CWP each summer is a tremendous opportunity that I have been lucky enough to take advantage of for the past 9 summers. It is truly a unique environment where campers and staff alike make life-long friends and memories. As a staff member, I want to ensure my campers take advantage of every opportunity that comes their way, and to enjoy every second at White Pine. I can’t wait for all the summers to come!”

Rachel Fenberg

“My summers at White Pine have truly been the happiest of my life. I have made more friendships than I can count—both as a camper with my cabin and counsellors, and now as a staff with my co-staff and campers. I have been able to do things that push me outside of my comfort zone, like going on a 12 day canoe trip or performing a break for a special program in front of the whole camp. During my summers as a counsellor, I’ve been able to make an impact in so many camper’s summers, encouraging them to try new activities and watching them succeed. I count the days each year until I can return to my home away from home!”
