We Look Up To Our Staff

Our staff is one of the reasons that White Pine is special and different from other summer camps. They are dedicated, mature and committed to providing every camper with the best summer possible. Many staff members return summer after summer, and are well know by campers.

Senior counsellors are university students, graduate students and teachers, all of whom have experience working with children. They must be warm, creative, and have skills and interests that they can share with campers.

Our staff receives extensive pre-camp and in-service training, and regular supervision, which deal with all aspects of living with children and promoting their growth, skills and enjoyment.

Our instructors are highly qualified in the safety and instructional aspects of their activity areas. As well, we have a full time doctor and two nurses on staff to ensure the health and safety of all.
